Oasis Poker
Oasis Poker is a five-card game with the highest hand of royal flush that pays out 100:1, while the lowest hand is two pairs (2:1). Before receiving cards, a player is asked to place an ante by picking a preferred real money chip (NZ$1 to NZ$100) and then clicking Deal. As soon as the player’s five initial cards are on the table, he can decide whether to:
- Forfeit the hand by clicking Fold. In this scenario, the ante bet is collected by the online casino
- Continue with the current hand and place a call bet that is always twice as much as the ante or
- Exchange an unwanted card with a new random card. This comes at a price (x1–x3 the ante bet) but gives kind of a second chance to create a strong hand.
There is a requirement for the dealer to qualify on each round to play. If dealer’s hand does not contain an Ace or King (or higher), the player receives the ante bet at double the size and call bet without winning. If dealer’s hand does qualify, hands are compared as normal and wins are calculated as per the pay chart. Oasis Poker is also found in many bitcoin casinos and accepts New Zealand players.
